I help adults at midlife and beyond with the challenges of getting older in order to better enjoy life. My approach to individual counseling centers on compassion and acceptance. I guide us to work together to create a safe, comfortable space in which you can share your concerns. I work with you to establish your counseling goals, empowering you to clarify challenges and to find the strength, coping skills, insight, and resilience to move forward. While I may use a variety of therapeutic approaches in our work together, my primary modality is Internal Family Systems (IFS).
Throughout my social work career, I have specialized in working with adults and older adults, providing counseling in a variety of settings, including long term care, skilled rehabilitation, adult day health, and hospice settings.
I am licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Social Workers to provide counseling as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. I received my Masters in Social Work from Simmons University Graduate School of Social Work. I have completed Level One and Level Two Training in Internal Family Systems.
